ROTC training is no easy feat. The cadets are treated as, and expected to react as, full military members while their labs are conducted. This lab had them tasked to ambush an enemy base. Squad leaders led recon missions and devised an attack plan while guards stood watch. The intensity of it all was fascinating. It was this intensity that I aimed to capture in my photos as well as the dark, contrasty edit I finished them with.
